I am nurse by day – 14 years a counting. I also hold the title of mother, wife, sister & daughter to name just a few. But my favorite and most important identity is child of God! So, how did I end up an artist on the side?
It started with pens and paper, sketching “my tree”. I would sketch the same tree during staff meetings, slow periods at work, or while my boys were in the bathtub. I would share them with my bestie who told me I’d be good at painting, to which my reply each time was to laugh. Then COVID lockdowns came and in an effort to prove her wrong, I gave painting a try… and well we see where this has led.
